About This Settlement

Register.com allegedly violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by placing robocalls using an artificial or prerecorded voice to phone numbers that had been permanently disconnected and made available for reassignment through the FCC's Reassigned Numbers Database. The TCPA prohibits telemarketers from contacting consumers with robocalls without prior express consent. Register.com has not admitted any wrongdoing but has agreed to a $1.5 million settlement to resolve these alleged violations.

Who Qualifies

• You may be eligible to file a claim if you meet all of the following criteria:
• You are a person or entity located anywhere in the United States
• You received a call from Register.com that used an artificial or prerecorded voice
• The call was placed to a number assigned to a cellular telephone service
• The call occurred between February 12, 2021, and November 24, 2025
• Your phone number had been permanently disconnected and made available for reassignment per the FCC's Reassigned Numbers Database at the time of the call
• No proof of purchase is required to file a claim

What You May Receive

Eligible claimants may receive an estimated $3,300 per affected phone number. However, the actual payout amount will vary and may be higher or lower depending on the total number of valid claims submitted by participating class members. No specific payment amount is guaranteed.
